For at least the next 20 to 100 years we will still have to use oil, gas, coal (fossil fuels), nuclear and other traditional systems to produce electrical energy.

However, as the worlds population grows fossil fuels will ultimately phase out of our energy system.  It has taken millions of years for nature to brew oil and coal and as the demands increase the supplies will decrease.

As old systems phase out, new systems will take their place.

With global warming concerns, carbon emmissions and pollution increases the world's people are learning that we must take steps to curb this man made potential crisis that we face.

Some people do not believe that carbon emissions are causing global warming, and that is OK to think this, but on the other hand pollution is not healthy and will get worse.

We will have challenges:  One of the largest industry battles occured when Edison invented the light bulb. 

Rockefeller, at that time, supplied the fuel for gas and oil lanterns that were used in every house and business; so he realized the threat of the light bulb taking away the demand (and profits) of oil.

We will face the same type of challenges as the oil cartels and power companies have not learned how to charge us for sunshine and wind.

The sun is the most powerful energy source in our planetary solar system.  One hour of sunshine can easily provide the worlds energy needs for 1 year.

The sun, through its uneven heating of the earth creats air currentls (wind) that will also power the future needs people and industry.

Alternative energy is coming to the forefront as new technologies are being developed.
