ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN UP
Land clean up is a major concern as industry, floods and other man made and natural elements have turned valuable land into useless wasteland.
Besides rendering land useless (brown fields), contaminated land is a major health concern. Soil remediation is very expensive to clean up. The typical cleaning methods require removing the soil, trucking it off to an approved HAZMAT dump site (moving the problem from one place to another); then purchasing clean soil and trucking it to replace the removed soil.
Another process of handling contaminated soil is to "cap it" which is to build roads and surfaces over the contamination. The capped pollutants still remain and can seep through the cap.
Other methods have been developed such as using enzyme products on the contaminated area that will reduce the contamination to "industrial standards" which means the soil is still unsafe for humans, animals and vegetation but has acceptable levels per EPA standards.
WORTHLESS LAND CAN BE VALUABLE
There are many locations where industry has contaminated land and then moved to another location. The original contaminator is responsible for this land as long as the contamination exists. Because of the expensive processes to clean the land, many times the property remains unused.
Contaminated land is a liability on the books of the originator or the contamination. Liabilities offset the asset base of these companies. Many companies desire to eliminate this liability to bring more value to the assets.
Many companies will sell off this land for pennies on the dollar if the purchaser assumes the liability.
A purchaser can buy these properties (many are waterfront), clean the land to residential standards, then sell at a premium or build new homes or businesses - making substantial profits.
CONTAMINATED SOIL HAS BEEN PROVEN TO CAUSE HEALTH ISSUES.
IT IS EVERYONE'S RESPONSIBILITY TO FIGHT FOR CLEAN LAND AND WATER.
A NEW SYSTEM HAS BEEN DEVELOPED
This system has won awards as the most innovative land cleaning system. The system actually washes the soil on site with a guarantee of EPA residential standards.
There is no need to remove soil, truck it off to a HAZMAT location, purchase replacement soil, truck it back to replace the contaminated soil.
This system reduces the cost and time of cleaning land by approximately 40%.
THE PROCESS
Soil is removed to the depth of the contaminant level and placed into the equipment. The soil is then washed with a new, environmentally friendly organic soap product that breaks down the contaminants. An enzyme product is added to the "washing" process which continues to break down/remove contaminants.
The soil is then placed back into the original area that the soil was removed. This process eliminates the expense of equipment, drivers to haul the contaminated soil away, eliminates the cost of dumping HAZMAT materials in an approved location, reduces the cost of purchasing and hauling new soil to the location.
Saves time and expenses by up to 40%.
